If you are considering returning to school to build new career skills or pursue a passion, this event is a great way for you to explore Harvard Extension School. Most of our students are working professionals who have returned to school to complete a bachelor’s degree, earn a master’s, and build new knowledge via a course or certificate. You can learn about our degrees, certificates, online courses, and student resources. You can get answers to general questions about registration and degree program admissions. And you hear about the experience directly from students and alumni.
Not at all. We have designed the open house as a full-day event so that attendees from around the world can log into the event platform at times that are most convenient. The general presentations are available on demand. Booths will be open all day, and there you can download materials, watch videos, or chat with a staff member at one of the scheduled live-chat times. We'll also share materials and presentation links with all attendees after the event so you can refer to them later.
Yes! All booths will have scheduled times throughout the day when staff and community members will be available live to chat with attendees. It’s a great way to learn more about the curriculum, faculty, and student experience.
The open house is a great place to start as you’re considering your future education options. You’ll be able to gather information and get your basic questions answered. Although we can’t offer individual advising sessions during this event, we will provide you with guidance you need to follow up with key departments so you can get the one-on-one support you need after the event.
On the day of the event, you visit this page—harvardextension.vfairs.com—and click the LOGIN button. You'll be prompted to enter the email address you used to sign up for the event. And don’t worry, we’ll send you reminders and a link to the event!
If you’re just getting to know us, we invite you to visit our Harvard Extension School website. We are one of 12 degree-granting schools at Harvard University — offering part-time, online & on-campus study options for adult learners. If you’d like to learn more and connect with an enrollment advisor, we invite you to get in touch.
There will be a variety of downloadable documents that you can save to a “virtual bag” throughout the day. From the bag, you can then download the documents directly or send them to your email account after the event is over.
